winter today … snowing and blowing … not too impressive inch-wise but formidable in the drifting … though right at this moment it’s really clogging up the air (to filch a phrase from Twain) … we stuck it out in school until 1:15 then sent them happily home …
the drifts right up against the doors are lots of fun …

Tom–We have a very interesting landscape! Lots of inches, huge drifts! However we can’t compete with Pat–not that we want to. The plow has finally come through but we don’t know when we can get the drive plowed. Hopefully sometime before morning. Mom
