here it comes … street scenes … the school’s annual fundraiser … wherein we disassemble & discombobulate the whole place … almost every classroom gets packed into some other classroom … an extraordinary amount of attention to detail goes into the moving plan … so that the whole move can happen in about an hour at the end of school today … it’s something to see …

and i’m feeling particularly inept …

it’s my books & stuff … it’s the masking tape room number i need to put on every desk and wastebasket and bookcase and file cabinet in the room (if i want them back) … it’s getting my teacher desk out of the room without the legs falling off … it’s figuring what to do with my last period before the move …

it’s a fun change … but it produces a certain elevated level of stupid anxiety …
