tagged by Jordan & charged to name 5 little known things about myself … o wait … the phone in my head is ringing … back in a bit

just this moment i have succeeded at something i’ve been working toward for the past two weeks … i have created a discussion board - hosted by my own site - for a fellow teacher … in the process i have used language no one should have to hear as i ran into one brick wall after another … but i was persistent & just a tiny bit crafty … and at this moment i am reaping the reward … a big gasp of relief … & a tiny little huzzah (!) for me …

the coolest moment was this evening … i was on the phone with Tech Support … and the guy was saying “hmm, i’ve never installed one of these. hang on a minute.” and while he was away i had a notion … i quickly followed my hunch & found it to be true (!!) … so when the guy came back on the line i said “i’m sorry, but i’ve just figured it out … and then i told him what it was … imagine that … me teaching something to the tech guy … sorry, i’m kind of psyched.

on the other hand (though i don’t really care anymore), yesterday i suffered my first actual spam attack on my central email address … so if yr one of my correspondents take note that the brtom@ address is no longer working … i was getting about 300 messages per minute … so i sent them all off to the black hole … i’ll be sending out my new address real soon … but because i’ve lost all my old email stuff, i may miss you … let me know (maybe via comments here) if you want my new one
